RankUp's take
D.Mon should now feel considerably more responsive in close fights. Surging Strike and Fusion Repeater both start and recover faster, reducing the time opponents have to punish her between actions.
Several fixes also make D.Mon more dependable. Portable Fusion Repeater should register hits correctly, Limit Break should provide its intended Overhealth, and console players can now use Toggle Propulsors as expected.
Power Barrier should offer more consistent frontal protection after its damage-interaction fix. The mech's head hitbox height was also aligned more closely with its visual model, so players should reassess familiar head-level aim points.
Jetpack Cat takes a direct hit to mobility and personal sustain. Play closer to safe routes and teammates, because slower movement and a stronger Purr self-healing penalty make extended exposure riskier.
What this means for you
D.Mon can chain actions more safely and should be more reliable when committing to fights. Jetpack Cat players need tighter positioning and should depend less on self-healing during Purr.
